Extra Judicial Killings in India

Extra judicial killing refers to the killing of a person by the state or its agents without any legal process. In India, extra judicial killing has been a matter of concern for a long time. Despite the constitutional provisions that guarantee the right to life and liberty to every citizen, extra judicial killings continue to take place in the country. Extra judicial killings are often carried out by the police or other security forces in the name of maintaining law and order. The police often justify such killings by claiming that the person killed was a criminal or a terrorist. However, in many cases, it has been found that the person killed was innocent and had no connection with any criminal or terrorist activity. The problem of extra judicial killing is particularly acute in areas affected by insurgency or terrorism. In such areas, security forces are given extraordinary powers to deal with the situation. Backlog Cases In Indian Judiciary- Cause and Solution

The backlog in Indian Judiciary is also a backlog, I think. It is indeed a long-standing problem  that has not been addressed properly yet despite uncountable efforts. Some of the reasons, which I believe to be this situation of Indian Judiciary are as follows. Shortage of Judges: India is among the countries having the lowest number of judges. As per the Indian Justice report of 2022, India has only 21.03 judges per million whereas the Law Commission reports say that India should have at least 50 judges per million. Shortage of judges leads to backlogs of cases as judges are unable to dispose the cases in a timely manner. Delayed Appointments: Delayed appointment of judges due to the various political and bureaucratic interferences also contributes to the backlog of cases. Since judges are not appointed on time, litigants have to wait for a long period for their cases to be heard before a Court. Pendency of Appeals: A Large number of cases, including even the trivial matters having l

Is CLAT preparation Stressful !!

Preparing for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) can be a stressful experience for many aspirants. The exam is highly competitive, and the stakes are high as the result of this exam will determine the candidate's future career prospects in the field of law. Here are some common sources of stress that a CLAT aspirant may experience: Exam Format: The CLAT exam is known for its unpredictable format and pattern. Candidates need to be prepared to face questions from various subjects like English, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Legal Aptitude, and Logical Reasoning. This unpredictability can lead to anxiety and stress. Again since the pattern of exam has changed, now it is a exam fully dependent on one skill that is the English reading and comprehending skill of a aspirant. By latest, there is also a petition fi

Law Shapes Society

The relationship between law and society is complex and interdependent. Law is a system of rules and regulations established by a governing authority to govern behavior and ensure social order, while society is a group of individuals living together and interacting with each other. The law and society are interconnected and shape each other in many ways. Law reflects and reinforces social values, norms, and beliefs. The legal system is designed to reflect the values and norms of society, and the laws that are enforced reflect the moral and ethical standards of the community. For example, laws against murder and theft reflect the society's values of protecting human life and property rights. At the same time, society also shapes the law. The social, economic, and political conditions of a society influence the development and enforcement of laws. For example, changes in society's attitudes towards issues such as drug use, same-sex marriage, and abortion have led to changes in th

people believe in the existence of ghosts or spirits, while others are skeptical and attribute such experiences to psychological or environmental factors. While there is no scientific evidence that definitively proves the existence of paranormal activity, research in parapsychology and related fields continues to explore the possibility of phenomena that cannot be explained by conventional science. Its important to note that some reported paranormal experiences may have alternative explanations, such as hoaxes, hallucinations, or misinterpretation of natural phenomena.
